Researchers created a digital reconstruction of the face of a person who lived roughly 315,000 years ago, using remains found at the Jebel Irhoud site in Morocco — among the oldest known fossils of our species. The visualization shows how Homo sapiens may have looked long before the first civilizations emerged.
