Budimex completes test piles for Baranów airport terminal

Budimex has finished installing test piles beneath the passenger terminal building of the new airport between Warsaw and Łódź, in Baranów municipality, about 37 km west of Warsaw. Load tests are now underway to verify design assumptions before main piling work begins. About 70 percent of the topsoil has already been removed, and temporary retention basins are ready.
