Sealed backpack at gas station triggers evacuation and counterterrorism response

On the evening of September 16, police received a report of an abandoned red backpack with elements resembling seals at a gas station. Counterterrorists from Warsaw were dispatched to the scene, customers and employees were evacuated, and pedestrian, vehicle and tram traffic were temporarily halted. Upon inspection, the backpack contained no materials or devices threatening safety.
