Pope Leo XIV blessed garments of the Skalmierz Mother of God image

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the coronation of the largest crowned image in Greater Poland — the Skalmierz Mother of God — the parish decided to give the figure new garments. The dress was blessed by Pope Leo XIV. Transporting the exceptional image to Rome posed a serious logistical challenge.
