Knife attack in Biała Piska: 44-year-old arrested for attempted murder
On Saturday evening, September 12, a 44-year-old resident of Biała Piska attacked a 41-year-old with a knife, striking him in the chest, shoulder and buttock. The victim sustained serious injuries but survived thanks to prompt medical care. The suspect was detained and charged with attempted murder. A court remanded him in custody for three months; he faces 10 to 25 years in prison or life imprisonment.
