Polish bond yields hit record highs: spread over WIBOR widens

The gap between 10-year treasury bond yields and the six-month WIBOR rate reached 2.66 percentage points on Tuesday — an unprecedented level in Polish debt market history. Even after yields fell to 6.15%, the spread stood at 2.3 percentage points, nearly three times higher than the long-term median of 0.8 percentage points.
