Fighter jets in air near border as civilian flights halted in Jasionka and Lublin
The Operational Command of the Armed Forces launched Polish and allied fighter jets in response to Russian massed missile and drone strikes on targets in central and western Ukraine. As a result, civilian operations were temporarily suspended at Rzeszów-Jasionka and Lublin airports. Ground-based air defense and radar systems reached full combat readiness, and the highest safety procedures were introduced in Polish airspace.
