Border guards catch smuggler hiding cigarettes dropped by drone in combine

Border Guard officers in Kuźnica observed a drone dropping packages onto a 58-year-old Polish man's property. The man hid cartons in a combine harvester — over 1500 cigarette packs without Polish tax stamps were found, worth around 31,000 zł. The Podlaskie resident was charged with tax crime, placed under police supervision, banned from leaving the country, and ordered to pay 15,000 zł bail.
