Woman loses over 7,000 PLN to fake supermarket job offer
A fifty-year-old woman from Łuków encountered a job posting on social media for a popular retail chain. After clicking the link and filling out a form, a fake recruiter contacted her and persuaded her to open a digital financial account and make fictitious online purchases. Small amounts of tens of zlotys were initially deposited into her account to legitimize the fraud, which ultimately cost her over 7,000 zlotys.
