Paris: Macron, Aoun and King Abdullah discuss UNIFIL's future in Lebanon

Emmanuel Macron hosted Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Jordan's King Abdullah II in Paris for talks on Lebanon's security and support for the Lebanese army. The meeting took place amid plans to withdraw UNIFIL forces by the end of 2026 and ongoing Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon. France wants to prevent a security vacuum on the Lebanese-Israeli border.
