Nawrocki seeks zero retail fuel tax and margin cap on fuel through March 2027

President Karol Nawrocki will submit his own draft law to the Sejm by end of week to reduce fuel prices, announced his chief of staff Paweł Szefernaker. The draft includes zero tax on retail fuel sales through the end of March 2027, the Finance Ministry's ability to flexibly reduce excise rates, and a statutory margin cap for fuel companies.
