Three detained for fake VAT invoices worth 1.4 million zloty in Łódź

Police from the Economic Crime Unit of the Regional Police Headquarters in Łódź detained three people suspected of issuing and using fraudulent VAT invoices. The invoices totalling over 1.4 million zloty covered fake transactions for alleged construction work and business services. The prosecutor has already charged the suspects — they face up to 8 years in prison.
