Record EU sanctions: over 1500 Russians and firms to be added to Brussels list

EU diplomacy proposed on Wednesday that member states impose sanctions on 1576 individuals and entities linked to Russian aggression against Ukraine. If the proposal is adopted, it will be the largest expansion of the EU sanctions list in history.
