US Congress passes Russia sanctions, tariffs up to 100% on resource purchases

The House of Representatives voted for a sanctions bill against Russia, previously approved by the Senate. It gives the president authority to impose tariffs of up to 100% on goods from countries buying Russian oil and gas — including EU member states.
