T. rex body temperature was similar to humans

Scientists have for the first time estimated Tyrannosaurus rex's body temperature by studying carbon and oxygen isotopes in the tooth enamel of three dinosaur teeth found in the Hell Creek formation in Montana. T. rex was found to be a warm-blooded animal with body temperature close to that of humans. The result confirms the hypothesis that T. rex was a fast, energetic predator rather than an animal that warmed itself in the sun like modern reptiles.
