Ukraine needs $52 billion in aid for 2027

Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhij Marczenko presented parliament with a 2027 budget proposal showing a shortfall of over $52 billion. The government expects frozen Russian assets to become a key source of revenue. Ukraine is almost entirely dependent on external financing for the war effort and reconstruction.
