Two men detained in Łódź for defrauding EU funds

Officers from the Economic Crime Division of the Regional Police Headquarters in Łódź detained two men suspected of fraud and attempting to obtain large sums from EU funds. They were acting on orders from the European Public Prosecutor's Office based at the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Katowice. The suspects — a 28-year-old and his 43-year-old accomplice — face up to 10 years in prison.
