Lenovo AeroBlade: ultrasonic cooling replaces fans in concept laptop

Lenovo presented the concept AeroBlade laptop at Berlin trade show, cooled by four miniature chips instead of traditional fans and heatsinks. The chips vibrate at ultrasonic frequency, creating 2000 pascals of pressure and forcing airflow at roughly 200 km/h onto a copper processor base. The solution is silent, has no moving parts, and enables building a significantly thinner and lighter computer.
