Fake doctor swindled nearly 200,000 zloty from woman at night
On the night of September 8 at around 1 a.m., a resident of Majdan Królewski gmina received a call from a man posing as a doctor, who claimed her sister urgently needed money for medication. Frightened, the woman withdrew cash and handed nearly 200,000 zloty to the man who came to her home. Four days later, on September 12 in Kolbuszowa, police arrested a 37-year-old resident of Mazovian Voivodeship suspected of taking the money.
