Polish police dismantle gang trafficking precious metals outside tax system
The Central Bureau of Investigation and the Subcarpathian Tax and Customs Office in Przemyśl dismantled an organized crime group that put over 1.7 tonnes of precious metal products into circulation outside the tax system. Losses to the state treasury are estimated at around 45 million zloty. Seized items include 11 kg of gold and 6.5 kg of silver. Two more people were detained; the investigation is supervised by the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Rzeszów.
