USA redirects $52M military aid from Europe to Latin America

The Trump administration has decided to redirect $52 million in military aid from Europe and the Middle East to Trump-friendly Latin American countries. The decision followed Secretary of State Marco Rubio's visit to South America, where he met with leaders of Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador. Among countries losing funding are Slovakia and North Macedonia — both NATO members.
