Sakiewicz allegedly promised pardon to Zondacrypto boss, Presidential Palace denies
According to findings by Wirtualna Polska and TVN24's Superwizjer, Tomasz Sakiewicz — president and co-owner of Telewizja Republika — allegedly promised the head of crypto exchange Zondacrypto that he would "arrange" a presidential pardon from President Karol Nawrocki. The Presidential Chancellery distanced itself from the matter: presidential spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz stated that neither Przemysław Kral nor anyone from Zondacrypto met with the president. The case concerns potential mediation in obtaining presidential clemency.
