Health authority warns of E. coli bacteria in water in Trzydnik Duży

The State County Health Inspector in Kraśnik reported contamination of water from the Owczarnia water system in Trzydnik Duży — tests detected coliform bacteria, though E. coli and fecal enterococci were not found. The alert affects over 6,000 residents of Kraśnik County. Health authorities recommend boiling water for at least 2 minutes before drinking, cooking, washing vegetables and fruit, and bathing newborns. Special caution is urged for infants, pregnant women, seniors and immunocompromised individuals.
