Orlen raises wholesale prices: diesel costliest this year, up 65 percent

On Tuesday, September 15, Orlen raised wholesale prices for unleaded 95 petrol to 6395 zloty per cubic metre (up 272 zloty since Saturday) and diesel to 7388 zloty per cubic metre — the highest this year. Since January, diesel has risen wholesale by about 65 percent and petrol by about 51 percent. Such large wholesale price increases could eventually translate into higher prices at fuel stations.
