Saudi Arabia asks Britain for military support against Houthis on Red Sea

Saudi Arabia has requested operational military assistance from the United Kingdom in connection with an offensive by Yemeni rebel Houthis along the Red Sea coast, according to Bloomberg, citing anonymous sources. Riyadh is asking London for support in stopping the rebels and protecting Saudi oil infrastructure. The Houthis already control much of the Red Sea coastline.
