Farmers in Trawniki commune unearth WWII unexploded ordnance
While digging potatoes in Oleśniki in Trawniki commune, farmers came across a suspicious object. A police officer with specialist training confirmed it was unexploded ordnance from World War II — 22 cm long and 7 cm in diameter. The area was secured, and on Tuesday morning sappers removed the item for disposal.
