New shading rules from Sept. 20: neighbor may demand demolition

From September 20, regulations on building obstruction and access to natural light will change. New rules from the Ministry of Development and Technology may give neighbors grounds to demand removal of structures like balconies or railings that limit sunlight. The changes will affect property owners with structures built at lot boundaries.
