WTO warns: global GDP may fall 10% by 2050 without reforms

Failure to reform the World Trade Organization could cost the global economy around 10% of GDP by 2050, according to WTO's annual report. In the best scenario, with deeper cooperation, GDP would grow 2.9% and exports 18%. Geopolitical fragmentation would mean a 5.1% GDP decline and 19% export drop. The worst scenario is a world dominated by bilateral agreements that would push WTO to the margins.
