Drunk Ukrainian driver nearly drove car into canal in Ostróda

On Sunday, 13 September, in Międzylesz in the Ostróda municipality, a 40-year-old Ukrainian woman drove a rover into bridge barriers over a canal connecting Lakes Pauzeńskie and Szeląg Wielki. The front of the car extended beyond the bridge's edge and hung over the water. A breath test showed over 0.1% blood alcohol. A passenger was a 30-year-old Georgian man, the vehicle's owner — no one was injured.
