Ukrainians claim to have killed Russian general in Donetsk: highest-ranking since war began

The Ukrainian-Tatar partisan movement Atesz reported that a Ukrainian strike on a command post in occupied Donetsk killed Gen. Maj. Sergey Milchakov, commander of the Russian 51st Combined Arms Army. He would be the highest-ranking Russian officer killed since the war began. There have been suggestions that the precise attack was possible due to a leak of information about the general's location, though Russia has not confirmed his death.
