Pile-up on S17 near Kurów: four vehicles, traffic backed up over 2 km

On Monday, September 14 before 3 p.m., four vehicles — two cars, a van and a truck — collided on expressway S12/S17 near Kurów. The roadway toward Puław and Warsaw was completely blocked between Kurów East and Kurów West junctions, creating a backup exceeding 2 km. Traffic services routed vehicles onto a detour through Kurów and Wola Osińska. Around 3:21 p.m., one lane was reopened.
