Iran seizes assets of 240 dissidents and journalists
Iranian justice authorities froze 182 bank accounts and confiscated property of journalists, activists and public figures accused of acting on behalf of "hostile governments". Since January, authorities carried out at least 532 death sentences, including against 29 people linked to protests. The number of those arrested over demonstrations exceeded 6,000.
