UOKiK fines Biedronka owner over 525 million PLN for wage-fixing conspiracy
The Office for Competition and Consumer Protection has fined Jeronimo Martins Polska — owner of the Biedronka chain — over 525 million PLN for coordinating a wage-fixing conspiracy on the labour market. The fine also covers transport companies and individuals who restricted drivers' freedom to change employers. The amount of 525 million PLN represents around 1/7 of the company's net profit for last year.
