Proposal for new holiday: July 4 as Day of the Hussars

A proposal has emerged to establish July 4 as Day of the Hussars, a Polish state holiday. The date refers to the Battle of Kłuszyn in 1610, when forces of the Commonwealth under the command of Hetman Stanisław Żółkiewski defeated a Moscow-Swedish army.
