Slovak wanted by Interpol for contract killing arrested in Silesia
Silesian criminal police arrested a 56-year-old Slovak wanted by Interpol at Ukraine's request. The man allegedly accepted payment to carry out a killing and fired a gun at a victim on Ukrainian territory — the victim survived. The suspect was previously known to Katowice authorities: in 2024 he was detained in connection with counterfeiting banknotes as part of an organized criminal group, and investigators then seized nearly 1700 forged notes.
