Hundreds of jellyfish on Sopot beaches: what are they and are they dangerous?

Dozens and in some places hundreds of jellyfish cast ashore by the Baltic have appeared on Sopot's beaches. They are most likely blue jellyfish — a species most commonly found in the Baltic. Photos quickly began circulating on social media.
