Counterfeit goods worth 2 billion złoty flood Poland, up 170% annually

The total value of fake products seized by Polish customs and tax authorities over the past five years reaches 2 billion złoty, according to estimates by Rzeczpospolita. In 2025, the value of confiscated counterfeits rose by nearly 170 percent compared to the previous year. Data from the first half of 2026 also point to a worrying upward trend.
