Enric Mas wins Vuelta a España as first Spanish champion since 2014

Enric Mas won his first Vuelta a España title, finishing the three-week race in Granada. The 31-year-old Spaniard, who took the leader's red jersey after Tadej Pogačar's crash and withdrawal on stage 8, finished ahead of four-time winner Primož Roglič. Mas is the first Spaniard to triumph at Vuelta since Alberto Contador in 2014. Norwegian Tobias Johannessen won the final, 21st stage.
