Interpol captures 42-year-old fugitive hiding in Alicante
Officers from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice determined in April that a wanted 42-year-old man could be in the Alicante area of Spain. The man was being pursued by a red notice from the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Katowice for involvement in an organized criminal group issuing fraudulent VAT invoices and money laundering. On August 27 he was arrested in Spain and subsequently brought to Poland with the cooperation of Europol, Interpol and the ENFAST network.
