Man arrested after breaking into basement and stealing seven paintings in Warsaw

In Warsaw, a 50-year-old forced open a basement padlock and stole seven paintings while the owner was away. A friend of the woman who was caring for the apartment discovered the theft when he noticed the replaced padlock and empty walls in the storage unit. Police from the Mokotów property crime unit quickly identified the suspect and arrested him at his residence.
