Third measles death in Pennsylvania: 40-year-old woman and two infants earlier

The coroner for Jefferson County in Pennsylvania confirmed the death of a 40-year-old woman linked to the measles epidemic in that state. This is the third death from the epidemic — two infants died in August earlier, one with an inborn genetic defect, the other from ruptured spleen. The measles epidemic in Pennsylvania is ongoing and not yet contained.
