Attacked during expedition for wearing a yellow-and-blue cap

Kuba Heisig set out on a journey to raise awareness for a fundraiser for his partner Marcelina, who is battling cervical cancer — she is in her fourth pregnancy. During the expedition he was attacked by perpetrators who mistook him for a Ukrainian because of his yellow-and-blue cap. The attack ended his journey before he could complete it.
