Students uncover story of Holocaust survivors freed in 1945

A school oral history project interviewing World War II veterans revealed little-known episodes from the conflict. Among the discoveries was the story of liberation by American forces of 2,500 Holocaust survivors from the so-called "death train" in April 1945.
