Physicists worldwide disagree on key questions about the universe

A global survey of physicists revealed surprising lack of consensus on cosmology's biggest questions. No theory of dark matter or quantum gravity won majority support, and the standard cosmological model did not gather sufficient backing. The only stronger point of agreement was 68% of physicists believing the Big Bang did not necessarily mark the beginning of time.
