Blizzard announces Diablo V at BlizzCon 2026

During the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2026, Blizzard officially announced Diablo V, more than three years after Diablo 4's release. The stage featured a 48-second cinematic trailer without gameplay footage, showing burning settlements, destroyed cities, and demons. The story starts anew: Sanctuary has fallen, and the previous heroes have been defeated.
