Administrative court rejects complaints from judges bypassed for promotion by Nawrocki

The Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw rejected complaints from judges whom President Karol Nawrocki did not promote in November. The court ruled that the act of appointing a judge is the exclusive prerogative of the president, who under the Constitution acts independently in this matter. The case is not closed, however — the Supreme Administrative Court will consider it.
