First IRIS² satellites to launch in 2029 on schedule
EU Commissioner for Defence and Space Andrius Kubilius announced at the International Space Summit in Paris that the first satellites of the European IRIS² constellation will be launched in 2029. The project is proceeding according to plan. IRIS² is a European initiative for independent satellite communications.
