Polish cities may lose over 40% of residents by 2060

Demographic forecasts show that some Polish cities — including former provincial capitals — will lose over 40% of their population by 2060. These cities are losing residents due to an aging society and youth migration. The decline affects mainly smaller centers that once served as regional hubs for commerce and administration.
