Mamerki in Masuria: Hitler's concrete bunkers and the Amber Room mystery

Hundreds of concrete military structures built by Germans for command purposes during World War II are hidden in a forest in Mamerki, Masuria. Many have survived in surprisingly good condition and can be visited. The site also attracts visitors because of the legendary mystery of the Amber Room, whose trail was said to lead here.
