A suspicious package in Żurowa near Tarnów (Małopolskie province) that triggered a radiation alert proved harmless. According to asp. Kamil Wójcik of Tarnów police, the package contained electrodes — the contents were neither dangerous nor contaminated. Authorities discontinued further action in the case.
